16 Days Uganda Safari Adventure
Experience 16 Days Uganda Adventure Safari from specifically North to South, Kidepo Valley NP to Bwindi Impenetrable NP. Firstly start by heading to the untouched wilderness of Kidepo. From there then continue the journey to the south with highlights of boat-cruise, game-drives and chimps trekking on the way. In the south you will also meet the gentle Giants of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the Mountain Gorillas. Lastly, along the way you discover Uganda’s varied nature and friendly people.
Detailed itinerary for 16 Days Uganda Safari Adventure
Day 1: Arrival day at Entebbe airport
Arrive at Entebbe international airport during the day/Morning or evening and you will be picked up by our safari guide to start your 16 days Uganda safari from north to south. You will then be transferred to the hotel to rest after the flight.

Day 2: Start the drive towards Kidepo Valley National Park
After an early breakfast you start your 16-days Uganda Safari and straightaway set off on the journey that will take you to Kidepo Valley National Park. The drive takes you past Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary where a stop is made in order to track the Rhinos. Later driving north and have lunch in Gulu/ Enroute, Uganda’s second biggest town. Afterwards continue to the town Kitgum to check in.

Day 3: Kidepo Valley National Park – Cultural encounter
Firstly, after breakfast set off for Kidepo valley National Park, the first park on this 16 days Uganda safari. In a landscape of not only vast plains and semi-arid savannah framed by jagged mountains but also wooded hills, Kidepo is one of the wildest and most spectacular reserves in Africa. On arrival before entering the park have a cultural experience that will bring you into contact with Karamajong peoples at Karenna and Kapedo. Then meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will therefore show you the kraals, the grinding stones and many more interesting items. Finally you continue to your lodge and check in.

Day 4: Kidepo Valley National Park – Morning and evening game-drives
The morning-game drive certainly takes you towards Natabba gate. Area for specifically the cheetahs and other lower grassland mammals. The landscape throughout Kidepo Valley national park is especially studded with small hills, rocky outcrops and inselbergs. Day 5: Kidepo Valley National Park – Kanagorok hot spring
After an early breakfast, shortly proceed for a morning game drive to Kanagorok hot spring area crossing the sand river. A variety of animals can be seen roaming for example Ostrich among others. On reaching the hot springs, be amazed by nature and finally take a lot of photos as you would wish. After the activity, you will then return to your lodge and have lunch.
In the evening, head out for evening game drive focusing specifically on the buffalo track and the water holes around Narus Valley. Lastly return to your lodge and relax.

Day 6: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast we leave Kidepo Valley national park, maybe catching some last sights of its animals as we drive out. Continue on our 16-days Uganda Safari through the city of Gulu to masindi and finally to Murchison fall national park. Meanwhile have lunch in masindi and then check in and relax.

Day 7: Murchison Falls National Park – Game-drive and then boat-cruise
In the morning you will particularly set off for a game-drive in Murchison Fall national park. Day 8: Transfer to the crater lakes area in Fort Portal
After breakfast transfer shortly towards the crater lakes area via Fort Portal. It’s a long drive today but we target to have lunch in Fort portal. Day 9: Crater lakes exploration and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

Day 10: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Chimps trekking in Kalinzu forest and then launch trip in Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the morning we straightaway make the drive over to Kalinzu forest for a chimps trekking adventure. Here you certainly go in a group with a specialized guide into the jungle to search for our close cousins the chimpanzees and enjoy the nature. Additionally on spotting the chimps, you will spend some good time enjoying their ways of socializing. You will then return to your lodge for lunch.

Day 11: Transfer to Ishasha sector and game-drive
After a relaxed breakfast we certainly start the adventurous journey through the park to the southern Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth NP. If we are lucky we can see animals such as elephants, monkeys, beautiful birds and even big cats along the road-side. We arrive at the lodge for lunch and then in the afternoon head out for a game-drive to search for tree-climbing lions. The Ishasha sector is one of only two locations in Africa where the lions have the habit of regularly climbing the trees in order to rest. While here, you will also enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Day 12: Game-drive in Ishasha and transfer to Bwindi
In the early morning we will once again drive off in the adventurous vast savannah of the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth NP to search for interesting sights. After the game-drive we head to the lodge for lunch and then start the drive to Bwindi Mountains the home of the mountain gorillas. Furthermore the journey takes us from the savanna via cultivated hills to the jungle covered mountains of Bwindi. Finally check in and relax.

Day 13: Gorilla trekking day in specifically Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is specifically the home to the forest giants that are cousins to human beings, the mountain gorillas. You will certainly be taken in a group by a specialized guide into the jungle for your gorilla trekking adventure. Then trek through the beautiful nature and spend one hour with the gorillas. This Impenetrable Forest is also full of birds, butterflies and plant species plus forest hog, Uganda Safari Adventure, forest elephants, sitatungas and dikers. Eventually head out to Lake Bunyonyi and check in.

Day 14: Lake Bunyonyi
Firstly have a free day to relax by beautiful Lake Bunyonyi. There is defiitely a short list of activities such as canoeing, canoe ride along Lake Bunyonyi, swimming (safe in this lake) and hiking along the lake-shores. Lastly, spend the whole day especially freshening up and relaxing.

Day 15: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast straightaway transfer to Lake Mburo, the ‘Zebra magnet’. Meanwhile,leave Lake Bunyonyi and continuously drive through the hilly areas. Arrive in the park and have lunch at the lodge before heading for an afternoon game drive to view Zebras, Giraffes, Topis, Warthogs, cape buffaloes and impalas.

Day 16: Safari walk in Lake Mburo National Park and lastly transfer to Entebbe airport
In the Early morning basially have a safari walk while at the lodge. Get up early in order to have a chance to see zebras, waterbucks, birds and buffaloes in there day break jungle life. After the walk it is time for specifically breakfast at the lodge before you start the drive to Entebbe. Additionally have an en route to have lunch at the Equator. Furthermore take some photo poses where the southern- and northern hemispheres meet. Thus the end of the 16-days Uganda Safari Adventure.

All our Safari vehicles are Toyota Land-cruiser 4×4 with pop-up roofs. The vehicles are serviced and maintained to a very high standard before, during and after every safari. What happens if the jeep breaks down?
Our Safari vehicles are serviced and maintained to a very high standard before, during and after every safari. The age of the vehicles in our fleet varies but most were built between 2008 and 2013. If your vehicle does break down and it cannot be fixed on the road, we will request a rescue jeep which will come for you so that you can continue your safari with minimum impact. Whilst every effort is made to prevent this from happening, the driving is rough and the vehicles do take quite a pounding!
We believe in value for money. Every guest would like to have the most reliable and comfortable vehicles on safari. In response to the clients’ needs, we have a very strict vehicle replacement policy that ensures a young fleet at all times. We have a total fleet of 225 well-maintained motor vehicles, predominantly 4-wheel drives. This does away with the problem of sub-contracting vehicles and driver-guides, which may compromise the quality of services. Our safari vehicles are specifically converted for maximum space and comfort. All of them have hatched roof and sliding windows to facilitate good viewing and convenient photography during game drives and sight seeing.
