Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Pick-up and transfer to Kibale National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel or airport in Kampala and driven to Kibale National Park, which takes about 7 hours. Along the way, you will make stops for breakfast, lunch, and photo opportunities. Upon arrival at Kibale National Park, you will check into your chosen accommodation, which could be a lodge, camping, or tented facility. You will have dinner and spend the night there, getting some rest for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking In Kibale Forest National Park 

You will be up early for a cup of coffee or tea and set off for a chimpanzee trek, which is one of the main highlights of a visit to Kibale National Park. The trek will last 3-4 hours and will be guided by a knowledgeable ranger who will provide you with a brief on the rules and regulations. You will hike through the lush forests of Kibale National Park in search of habituated chimpanzee families. Once you come across the chimpanzees, you will have an hour to observe them as they go about their daily activities such as eating, grooming, playing, and nursing their young. After the trek, you will return to your accommodation for lunch, relaxation, and dinner.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 3 of the itinerary involves a transfer from Kibale National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park. After having breakfast, you will be driven to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is approximately 5 hours away. This drive will provide you with the opportunity to admire the stunning views of the Ugandan countryside.

Upon arrival at Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will be checked into your accommodation and have lunch. After lunch, you will have the rest of the day to relax and enjoy the facilities at your lodge. The next day, you will be embarking on an early morning game drive in the park, which will provide you with an opportunity to see a variety of wildlife such as elephants, lions, buffalo, and many more.

Day 4: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

After your breakfast, you will set out on a morning game drive in the national park, accompanied by a knowledgeable guide. You will set off for an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, which will last about 3 hours. The game drive will provide you with an opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffalo, and more. After the game drive, you will have lunch and then set off for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. The 2-hour boat tour will take you through the watery home of hundreds of hippos and other wildlife such as elephants, buffalo, and water birds. After the boat cruise, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

On this day, you will embark on a gorilla trekking experience, which is a unique and unforgettable adventure. You will be guided by park rangers who will lead you through the thick forest in search of a family of gorillas. The trek can last anywhere from a few hours to a whole day, but the experience of coming face-to-face with these magnificent primates is worth it. after gorilla tracking you will return to the lodge for rest and overnight accommodation. This provides an opportunity to relax after a day of adventure and explore the surrounding areas.

This does away with the problem of sub-contracting vehicles and driver-guides, which may compromise the quality of services. Our safari vehicles are specifically converted for maximum space and comfort. All of them have hatched roof and sliding windows to facilitate good viewing and convenient photography during game drives and sight seeing.
