A three Days Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari

This medley of wonders Safari specifically takes you through QENP. The Park was founded in 1952 as Kazinga National Park and later renamed to commemorate a visit by Queen Elizabeth II. It has a variety of  not only different species of mammals but also birds. And furthermore the famous Kazinga channel renowned for launch trips. The medley of wonders is definitely among the world’s most bio diversified wildlife sanctuary.  Featuring Leopards, Chimpanzees, Hippos, African Elephants and Cape Buffaloes. Not forgetting the beautiful lunch trip along Kazinga channel will surely make your experience memorable!

Proposed itinerary:

Travel straightaway to QENP and game drive

Game drive, Crater Lake exploration and lastly launch trip

Chump tracking and eventually return to Kampala  Kyambura gorge


Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Travel to QENP and an Evening game drive/Queen Elizabeth

After an early breakfast, you will shortly be picked up by our professional guide. Who will brief you about the day expectations.  At exactly 7:00am your 5-6 hours’ journey to the medley of wonders will straightaway kick off via Kampala – Mbarara highway. You will have your first stop over at kayabwe.  In order to have lunch and the equator experience. Stand in both the northern and southern hemispheres. And also experiment how water swirls specifically in different directions when placed in the northern and southern hemispheres. While here, photography is allowed.

After your meals, the journey will continue and as you approach Bushenyi. You will be welcomed by the coolest air ever experienced in Uganda. As well as the lush tea plantations on the hilly slopes of Igara and Ishaka. Through the Kalinzu Forest Reserve until Queen Elizabeth National Park.  Finally head straight to lodge, relax as you wait for the evening game drive.

Day 2: morning game drive, Crater Lake exploration and launch trip along Kazinga channel/Queen Elizabeth

Kick start your day with an early breakfast. Then head out for an early game drive. The tracks through Kasenyi, the North Kazinga Plains and the Ishasha Sector offer virtually guaranteed buffalo, antelope and elephant sightings, along with warthogs and baboons. There is a rich bird life especially our version of storks in the wetland spots. As we reach the Flamingoes in the salt lakes at Kasenyi. Which after will return to the lodge for lunch.

After lunch you firstly head out for the Classic highlights. On the 2hrs launch trip on the famous Kazinga channel. A 36kms channel linking specifically Lake George to Lake Edward. Here you will not only see land and water Adapted Hippopotamuses Yawning. But also the National Geographical society killing machine the Nile crocodile gaping along the Banks.  And also Savannah version of Pigs the Warthog- Pumba are a hallmark sign in this Animal home.  Lastly with your Binoculars along the peninsula you will view of Birds, animals like the ever-playing African Elephants in Waters.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Gorge and return back to Entebbe/Queen Elizabeth

Having had breakfast, you will surely go for chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge.  Meanwhile wonder through the forest before meeting the fascinating chimpanzees. After the tracking, you  however will embark on the drive back to Kampala. With a brief stopover at equator only for lunch in Masaka. And maybe have souvenir shopping.
