A three Days Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari

This medley of wonders Safari, will take you through QENP, The Park was founded in 1952 as Kazinga National Park, and renamed two years later to commemorate a visit by Queen Elizabeth II. It has a variety of different species of mammals and birds and the famous Kazinga channel renowned for launch trips. The medley of wonders is definitely among the world’s most bio diversified wildlife sanctuary featuring Leopards, Chimpanzees, Hippos, African Elephants and Cape Buffaloes not forgetting the beautiful lunch trip along Kazinga channel will make your experience memorable!

Day 1 Travel to QENP and game drive 6 – 7 hrs.
Day 2 Game drive, crater lake exploration and launch trip 5 – 8 hrs.
Day 3 Chump tracking and return to Kampala Kyambura gorge

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Travel to QENP and an Evening game drive

After an early breakfast, you will be picked up by our professional guide who will brief you about the day expectations.at exactly 7:00am your 5-6 hours’ journey to the medley of wonders will kick off via Kampala – Mbarara highway. You will have your first stop over at kayabwe for lunch and to have the equator experience. Stand in both the northern, And southern hemispheres and also experiment how water swirls in different directions when placed in the northern and southern hemispheres, you are free to take photos.

After your meals, the journey will continue and as you approach Bushenyi, you will be welcomed by the coolest air ever experienced in Uganda as well as the lush tea plantations on the hilly slopes of Igara and Ishaka, through the Kalinzu Forest Reserve until Queen Elizabeth National Park. Head straight to lodge, relax as you wait for the evening game drive.

Day 2: morning game drive, Crater Lake exploration and launch trip along Kazinga channel

Kick start your day with an early breakfast, then head out for an early game drive. the tracks through Kasenyi, the North Kazinga Plains and the Ishasha Sector offer virtually guaranteed buffalo, antelope and elephant sightings, along with warthogs and baboons .There is a rich bird life especially our version of storks in the wetland spots as we reach the Flamingoes in the salt lakes at Kasenyi which after will return to the lodge for lunch.

After lunch you head out for the Classic highlights on the 2hrs launch trip on the famous Kazinga channel, a 36kms channel linking Lake George – Lake Edward. Here you will see land and water Adapted Hippopotamuses Yawning, the National Geographical society killing machine the Nile crocodile gaping along the Banks and Savannah version of Pigs the Warthog- Pumba are a hallmark sign in this Animal home. With your Binoculars along the peninsula you have a magnificent view of Birds, animals like the ever-playing African Elephants in Waters.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Gorge and return back to Entebbe

This morning you go chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge. Wonder through the forest to meeting the fascinating chimpanzees. After the tracking, you will embark on the drive back to Kampala with a stopover at equator and lunch in Masaka.
