Tarangire National Park
Located in the Northern part of Tanzania and lies within the Northern Circuit which consists of several other National Parks. The park covers an approximate area of 2,850sqkm and was garzetted as a National park in 1970. Tarangire National Park boosts of about 58 mammal species including large herds of elephants, giraffes, tree climbing pythons, lions, leopards, spotted hyenas, gazelles, cheetahs, honey badgers, fringe eared oryx kudus, hartebeests, African wild dogs, zebras, tree climbing lions, cape buffaloes, wildebeests, waterbucks, dik-dik, impala among others. The park also has a strong concentration of bird species amounting to 550 species, among these include the greater and lesser Kudus as well as oryx, northern pied babbler, vulturine Guinea fowl, Rufous-tailed weaver, yellow-collard sun bird, white-bellied go away bird, hornbills, bee-eaters, ashy starling, mouse birds, tiny-pygmy falcon, white pelicans, superb sterlings, white-headed babbler, hammerkops among other bird species.
Serengeti National Park
Located in the Northern region of Tanzania and it was established in 1952. The park covers an area of 14763sqkm making it home to over 70 mammal species like dik-dik, Oryx, greater Kudu, Hyenas, Hippos, bushbuck, Jackals, giraffes, Janet cats, Baboons, Giraffes, elands, spring hare, porcupine, warthog, Hyraxes, vervet monkeys, Colobus monkeys, patas monkeys, and mongooses and also Africa’s Big 5 mammals which are lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and Rhinos. Serengeti National park also boosts of over 500 bird species including Grey-Breasted spur fowl, Fischer’s lovebird, Rufous-tailed weaver, Usambiro barbet, Grey-crested helmet-shrike, Kori Bustard, Red-capped robin-chat, Secretary bird, Verreaux’s eagle, Yellow-throated sand grouse among others. Serengeti National Park is well known for its annual Wildebeest Migration of over 1,500,000 and 250,000 Zebras which occur between the months of July and August.
Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Located in the Northern part of Tanzania on the Eastern Great Rift Valley Arm which is managed by Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority. The Conservation area was officially established in 1959 and was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979 and it is part of the Serengeti Ecosystem. Ngorongoro’s main attraction is the Ngorongoro Crater which is the World’s largest intact and unfilled Volcanic Caldera with over 25,000 mammals including wildebeests, hippos, warthogs, hyenas, zebras, elands, gazelles, and the Big 5 mammal species which are lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos as well as buffaloes and over 100 bird species co-existing with the Semi-nomadic Maasai people.
Day 1: Arrival and Pick up – Transfer to your Hotel in Arusha

Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park – Evening Game Drive
Day 2 of your Safari will start with a delicious breakfast and thereafter you will start your drive to Tarangire National Park where you will arrive with an enroute game drive to your lodge. You will check in for a mouth-watering lunch and have relaxation. Later, you will head out for an evening game drive until sunset which will give you sights of different mammals including elephants, giraffes, cape buffaloes, wildebeests, waterbucks, dik-dik, impala, fringe eared oryx kudus, hartebeests, lions, leopards, spotted hyenas, gazelles among others. You will then return back to your accommodation for your dinner as well as an overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti National Park – Evening Game Drive
After your lovely morning breakfast on day 3 of your 7 Days Serengeti Mara River Crossing Wildebeest Migration you will embark on about 4 hours drive to Serengeti National reserve passing through the beautiful high farmlands and then you will descend into the central Seronera area which has a great concentration for wildlife. Upon arrival, you will check into your accommodation for a mouth-watering lunch and have relaxation. Later in the late afternoon, you will proceed for a game drive until sunset.
This game drive through the endless rolling plains of Serengeti will give you sights of different wildlife species among which include Hippos, bushbuck, lions, Jackals, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, Janet cats, Baboons, Giraffes, elands, spring hare, porcupine, warthog, Hyraxes among others. Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Full day Wildebeest Migration Experience
After your delicious breakfast, you will embark on an encounter with Serengeti’s Wildebeests at the Seronera area while they cross the Mara River to Maasai Mara National Reserve. While here, you will enjoy watching millions of Wildebeests and Zebras migrating from Maasai Mara to Serengeti National Park while crossing the Mara River amidst the big Nile Crocodiles waiting to grab food, here you will witness survival for the fittest as lions are on the other hand waiting at the river banks for the same.
This experience is an unforgettable one since you will watch these creatures searching for greener pastures. You will enjoy a packed lunch in the reserve while maximizing your time with the migrating Herds. You will continue with your exploration of Serengeti National Park and search for more wildlife like lions, giraffes, Janet cats, Baboons, Giraffes, elands, spring hare, porcupine, warthog, Hyraxes, buffaloes, elephants and Rhinos among others. Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Full day Game drive in Seronera area

You will drive through the classic savannah dotted with acacia and filled with plenty of wildlife including the Big 5 mammals which are lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and rhinos. Day 6: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater – Game Drive
Your day 6 of the Safari will start with a lovely breakfast and thereafter you will transfer to Ngorongoro Crater which is about 4 hours from Serengeti National Park. When you first see Ngorongoro Crater, it looks like a forgotten world. Concealed by the steep volcanic walls is a pristine wilderness including sweeping savannah, pockets of acacia woodland, glistening lakes and swamps.
The Ngorongoro Crater was created when a large Volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. The drive down into the Crater is an adventure itself and when you reach the Crater floor, you will quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and more than 500 bird species. The Crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands. After a full afternoon inside the Crater, you will head to your accommodation for dinner as well as an overnight.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Rim Walk – Transfer back to Arusha
On the final day of your Safari, you will have a relaxed breakfast and you will thereafter go on a guided walk with an armed ranger guide along the top of the Crater wall. This part of the Crater is very beautiful and densely forested with Tropical trees, plants and creepers. This walk will take you along the picturesque rim offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape and various wildlife species. Later you will have a mouth-watering lunch and transfer to Arusha for your departure flight back home.
