5 Days Rwanda Gorillas & Lake Kivu Tour, we will provide you with a driver/guide to accommodate your game drives and other travel needs for this amazing 5 days safari! Your accommodations will be a Bed & Breakfast that offers a meal plan for your entire tour. Day 1: Kigali – Ruhengeri/5 Days Rwanda Gorillas & Kivu
Arrive at Kigali International Airport and be met by a driver/guide. You will take part in meet and greet, hear some comments by the driver about the safari and then head to Ruhengeri. Driving and overnight at Muhabura Hotel.
(You may wish to sleep in Kigali depending on your time of arrival to the airport before heading to Ruhengeri in the morning).

Day 2: Musanze – Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast is at the office of RDB at 7:00 for comment and instructions by the guide concerning the trekking of gorillas and briefing by the Volcanoes National Park’s guides. We encourage, for your own enjoyment, to make sure you are fit and healthy for this tour. It is important to bring good hiking boots, long trousers, gloves for protection against stinging nettles, snacks, and sufficient drinking water because it gets hot and humid during the day. You will spend an hour you will never forget with the gorillas. Return later in the evening to your hotel for lunch and later dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3: Volcanoes National Park – Golden Monkey Trekking
On your third day, you will take part in a day of Golden Monkey trekking in Volcano National Park. During this trek, you will also have the opportunity to view the park’s volcanos. You will return for lunch at the hotel and then proceed to Gisenyi to visit the Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. Head to Paradise Malahide later in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4: Volcanoes National Park – Lake Kivu
After breakfast, you will enjoy a morning boat ride on the lake and have a chance to see a variety of bird species and different water animals on the lake shore. Enjoy swimming at Serena Hotel Beach. You will enjoy dinner and your overnight stay at the Paradis Malahide Hotel.

Day 5: Kigali/5-Day Rwanda Gorillas & Kivu
Be picked up at your hotel by our driver and take part in a Kigali city trip including a visit to the Genocide Memorial Centre at Gisozi. You will have a chance to interact with the local people; discover the artisanal products (collars, bracelets, etc…), then transfer back to Kigali airport. Here is where your safari will end.

We believe in value for money. Every guest would like to have the most reliable and comfortable vehicles on safari. In response to the clients’ needs, we have a very strict vehicle replacement policy that ensures a young fleet at all times. We have a total fleet of 225 well-maintained motor vehicles, predominantly 4-wheel drives. This does away with the problem of sub-contracting vehicles and driver-guides, which may compromise the quality of services. Our safari vehicles are specifically converted for maximum space and comfort. All of them have hatched roof and sliding windows to facilitate good viewing and convenient photography during game drives and sight seeing.
