5-Day Ndutu Spectacular Migration:  During this safari, you will discover and explore national parks in Northern Tanzania, the best destination for a safari. You will visit Tarangire, South Serengeti(Ndutu), and Ngorongoro crater. Our professional guide will drive you with a 4×4 safari jeep during your safari. Complimentary drinks and mineral water will be available on the jeep. You will also experience early morning game drives.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

You will be picked up from the airport by a Lion King representative and conveyed to your accommodation in Arusha where you will overnight, relax, and prepare in anticipation of the adventures to come. Arusha Planet Lodge which is nestled in the heart of Arusha, will captivate you with the natural beauty of the Tanzanian landscape awaiting for your safari adventure.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

In the morning you will be collected from your lodgings in Arusha by our personal safari guide. We set out for Tarangire National Park on a good tarmac road across gently rolling Maasai plains with scattered acacia trees. As we zip along we pass many Maasai in their colorful dress walking on the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle and driving donkey’s carts. Tarangire National Park, well known for its large elephant herds, is also host to a multitude of other creatures. From the open roof of our state of the art safari jeep, we experience the seasonal swamps, savanna and life-giving Tarangire River, endeavoring to encounter a multitude of creatures, from zebra to wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe, to name a few. It is possible we will glimpse lion stalking prey or leopards watching, relaxing in the trees above.

After our extensive game drive experiencing the varied sights and sounds of the wilderness, we drive to your accommodation for dinner overnight.

Day 3: Karatu to ndutu

After breakfast, we leave Karatu and enter Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We proceed crossing Ngorongoro Highlands to Ndutu Area, here we start the game drive for this day with special attention to the Great Migration.

5-Day Ndutu Spectacular Migration

The Great Migration herds aggregate close to Lake Ndutu Area between Serengeti and Ngorongoro from December to Apr, here they find fresh food and big predators waiting for them. From January it is the beginning of the calving season for wildebeests.

Day 4: Ndutu to Ngorongoro

Early morning after breakfast, we enjoy the last game drive in Ndutu Area and late afternoon we proceed to

Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This UNESCO world heritage site formed millions of years ago with the massive explosion of a volcano once higher than Kilimanjaro is 610 m deep and covers roughly 304 square kilometers. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25 000 ungulates.

after a final game drive in Ndutu, you will drive to accommodation at the crater rim for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, we descend inside Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive with a picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is a must-see while on safari in Tanzania for its high density of wild animals we will be able to see wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, elephant, perhaps our luck, black rhino through the grass. And in the afternoon we drive back to Arusha.
