Central Island National Park is specifically located on the western shores of Lake Turkana in North Western Kenya in Turkana County. Lobolo, in Turkana language, means “a place of abundant water” and true to its name, it’s an oasis with many water springs that keeps it alive and beautiful. Doum palms forest abound. The camp has 8 tents with ensuite tiled toilette and shower area. Designed to give maximum view of the lake and far horizon, maximum breeze and comfort. The tents elevated to give a vantage view level and well sealed against insects or any unwelcome intruder.
This is a mobile setting and consist of medium size stand-in tents. Equipped with a camp-bed, mattress, pillow, beddings, towel and other necessity to make one’s stay as comfortable as possible. Dinning mess and kitchenette. Generator to light up the camp and for charging gadgets. And above all fresh meals and cold drinks are provided.
