The accommodation In Saiwa Swamp National Park camp is small and intimate. Located in the Lemek Conservancy just north of the Masai Mara game reserve. One of the best wildlife viewing areas of the Masai Mara ecosystem. A veritable haven for nature lovers, the Saiwa Swamp National Park a forested paradise filled with exotic flowers, trees, and birds. It is also the habitat of the rare and endangered semi-aquatic Sitatunga antelope and as a preserve for the rare De Brazza’s monkey. Within these tropical wetlands and mosaic of riverine forest, sedges, and acacia woodlands, with fringing dense rushes and grass beds. Bird life is abundant. Water birds include the lesser jacana, grey heron and the African black duck while the forest shelters the Narina trogons, the collared and orange-tufted sunbird, the yellow bishop, Hatlaub’s marsh widow bird, and the Noisy Ross’s turacos which are difficult to miss.
Conservancy/Accommodation In Saiwa Swamp
Our Conservancy offers hard-hitting game-viewing throughout the year. And comprises open savannah and a tree-lined section of the Mara River. With high concentrations of plains game and the wildlife numbers are particularly intensified during the annual wildebeest migration.
The camp’s nine tents have been strategically positioned. To take to take in the spectacular scenery of the Masai Mara plains. Designed to have minimal impact on the local environment. All the tents can either be sold as doubles, singles/twins, or triples depending on the client’s needs. However, Accommodation In Saiwa Swamp, our family tent can have both twin beds and a king-size double bed as the tent has two rooms joined by a cozy family lounge.
The camp offers game drives in shared 4×4 land cruisers which carry a maximum of six guests for comfortable seating and window seat guarantee. Clients also have the option of booking exclusive use of vehicles at supplement costs. Clients can either enjoy our standard morning and afternoon game drives, or full-day game drives with picnic lunch boxes on request.

With its unique architectural design, Aturukan Hotel is a luxury hotel located in Kitale, on the outskirts of Trans-Nzoia County.
The hotel has 92 comfortably furnished rooms and offers 24-hour room service. All rooms feature en-suite bathrooms, satellite TVs, tea and coffee-making facilities, mini-bars, safes, telephones, air-conditioning, and Wi-Fi access. What happens if the jeep breaks down?
Our Safari vehicles are serviced and maintained to a very high standard before, during and after every safari. The age of the vehicles in our fleet varies but most were built between 2008 and 2013. If your vehicle does break down and it cannot be fixed on the road, we will request a rescue jeep which will come for you so that you can continue your safari with minimum impact. Whilst every effort is made to prevent this from happening, the driving is rough and the vehicles do take quite a pounding!
We believe in value for money. Every guest would like to have the most reliable and comfortable vehicles on safari. In response to the clients’ needs, we have a very strict vehicle replacement policy that ensures a young fleet at all times. We have a total fleet of 225 well-maintained motor vehicles, predominantly 4-wheel drives. This does away with the problem of sub-contracting vehicles and driver-guides, which may compromise the quality of services. Our safari vehicles are specifically converted for maximum space and comfort. All of them have hatched roof and sliding windows to facilitate good viewing and convenient photography during game drives and sight seeing.
