Accommodation
Apoka Rest Camp includes sixteen self-contained cottages, each with attractive mattresses and mosquito nets. The rooms, on the other hand, are created and fashioned in an African style of architecture and have good fresh air despite the lack of an air conditioner. The Apoka Rest Camp features fourteen bandas, each with two beds, however the rooms are not self-contained.
Apoka Rest Camp features a vast and open property that is popular for camping. If you want to go camping, you can do so, but you must provide your own camping equipment because the lodge merely provides a camping site.
Dinning
The lodge does not have an operating restaurant; you will need to bring your own food to feed on. Meanwhile, we recommend that you pack your food from Kampala or Mbale, Gulu, and other dependable metropolitan towns, which may offer cuisine of your interest. The camp has some refrigeration, and you may bring in frozen meat. Markets sell eggs, bread, and prepared soups, and you can make a stew with anything from vegetables to meat or chicken.

Wildlife Viewing
Apoka Rest Camp is the opportunity to embark on guided Game Drives and Nature Walks within Kidepo Valley National Park. Led by experienced guides, these excursions offer the chance to encounter a diverse array of wildlife for instance elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, cheetah and more.

Karamojong Visits
A unique insight into the warrior tribe’s way of life. The name Karamojong is derived from a phrase meaning ‘the old men can walk no further’. Originally from Ethiopia, this tribe settled in the North East of Uganda. Related to the Maasai, this is a warrior nomad tribe for who, for generations, pride and status were cattle and for who cattle raids were the rule of the day. Since the disarmament however, things have calmed down. Cattle is still king, but subsistence farming has become a lot more common.
